I've just upgraded from a late 9.x release to 10.0.4 and ran into a bug I've hit before but no solution was offered.
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 546.0.html
I used one of my sub sites as test.
The problem is that the menu heirarchy has all been shot to pieces, with all of the children now showing the same page level as their parent. I resolved this last time by tediously re-allocating the children to their parents. While this is OK for a small site I don't want to try to do it for my main site which has over 200 pages.
I notice that even when you run an upgrade the default install pages get added again to the Current Pages screen. Could this be the culprit?
Also, PHPLayers no longer shows submenus on rollover. I checked the Modules screen but it doesn't need an upgrade.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a simple fix?
Cheers!

Re: Upgrade to 10.0.4
Two questions:
1. What is 10.0.4? Do you mean 0.10.3?
2. Did you run install/install.php or install/upgrade.php? Upgrade.php definintely doesn't re-add pages.

Re: Upgrade to 10.0.4
Sorry, I meant 0.10.3. Getting ahead of myself.
I definitely ran the upgrade.php file.
The original install pages appeared in the Page Content list and the heirarchy was shot to pieces. You may recall the same thing happened with this site a few months back.
Are you confident that nothing like this could happen in upgrading from 0.10 to 0.10.3? If so, I'll just carry one. No one else seems to have experienced this problem.
Why, oh why, is it always me?

Re: Upgrade to 10.0.4
0.10 to 0.10.3 has no database changes. upgrade.php didn't really do anything except remove the SITEDOWN file and clear the cache.
It did copy over files. But that's about it. The database definitely didn't get changed.
