Permission problem with FormBuilder

Post by Mexx »

Hi,

I'm trying to edit the 'Destination e-mail address'  field in the basic Contact Us form. When I try to put my e-mail address in then click Update, I get this error:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admin/moduleinterface.php on this server.

Running CMSMS 1.2.2
FormBuilder 0.4.4

Server details:
MySQL v4.1 database
PHP version 4.4.2, Perl Version 5.6.1

I have tried CHMODding the file to 777 etc but no luck, I get the feeling this is probably a server issue?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to sort the problem please?

Many Thanks...

Hmm that is a weird one. I have never seen that myself. I have seen pages not work and just error out for sec but not this situation.

Hi, I just recently discovered CMSMS and LOVE it!!  However, when I uploaded a tweaked installation to a client's site I have the same problem with the module manager in general.

It's the latest release and I've double-checked all of my folder and file permissions many times and safe-mode definitely "off" but "no go".  I can't install any additional modules at this point.  Very frustrating, of course, since I now have the theme/templates and styling all to my liking.

Here's the error message I'm getting in the module manager:

WARNING: Insufficient directory permissions to install modules. You may also be experiencing problems with PHP Safe mode. Please ensure that safe mode is disabled, and that file system permissions are sufficient.

Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance -- you'll be saving my life (and many hours of work!!).

Dana
