Hello,
I'm having trouble inserting images into content. Using TinyMCE and CMSMS 1.2.2, I click the little image button, which pulls up a dialogue box with "Image URL" and a browse button. Click browse brings up "FCKeditor - Resources Browser" and the images are shown. Clicking on one updates the "Image URL" field on the dialogue box. BUT, clicking "insert" only puts in: .
Any clues?
Also...
- There is no image in the Preview box initially, but there is when I add a leading slash to the Image URL. Still inserts a blank img tag even when I do this.
Thanks very much,
Philip

Re: No src="" on inserted image
Did you ever sort this out?
When I click insert on TinyMCE and CMSMS 1.2.3 I get the box with "Image URL" but cannot see the local images I have uploaded.
The only way I can insert is to copy and paste the full url into the box and save.
Is CMSMS supposed to show the images you have uploaded into the image gallery and allow you to click them to insert?
Thanks,
b

Re: No src="" on inserted image
No never figured it out. Back again months later with the same freakin problem. Seems CMSMS is more work than it's worth. I think this is going to cause me to have to completely rebuild 3 sites that I stupidly built in CMSMS before really testing it out.

Re: No src="" on inserted image
Well, when I click on the 'little image button' I get a popup... I can then click on a browse button, and either select from a previously uploaded image, and/or upload a new one. The thumbnail is correctly generated, and I can type in the other details in whatever little box that is in popup, and it all works.
Keep in mind, usually I uninstall all wysiwyg editors because they are a real pain. I only installed it to test this issue (then I uninstalled it, because it's a real pain).
So, if this doesn't work for you, please read the topics on 'how to ask a question so you'll get answers', the README first topics, and a few other of the sticky topics in the forums that your posting to to provide enough information so that you may actually get help.
In particular if safe mode is on for your host, you probably shouldn't even bother posting here.

Re: No src="" on inserted image
I replaced TinyMCE with FCK editor and was able to insert images without a problem.
The FCK is a bigger module and runs slower than TinyMCE.
If you can deal with this then give it a try and post back here if it worked for you.
Thanks,
b

Hello Philip,
Pierre M.
beware there was a TinyMCE security flaw with CMSms 1.2.2 and the fix made 1.2.3. Have you upgraded and is the issue still there ?BigFishPhilip wrote: ...Using TinyMCE and CMSMS 1.2.2,...
