[solved] Another installation problem!

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Another installation problem!

Post by argraff »

Help! I've installed CMSMS three times tonight, but continue to get the following error upon asking for index.php or install/index.php:

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/homepages/25/d135359743/htdocs/personal/lib/misc.functions.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /homepages/25/d135359743/htdocs/personal/index.php on line 46

I've reset my cache, reloaded everything, done all I can figure out to do. I'm not a web newbie, but PHP is starting to look impenetrable.

Also, my config.php is still blank. I have triple checked all permissions. (Only the top level folder is meant to change, right? Or is everything inside supposed to chmod to 777???)

I'm using Linux as an OS, CMSMS 1.2.1. I don't know about the rest, but I've run Wordpress successfully several times on this server, so I think it meets requirements.

Thanks in advance!

Andy

UPDATE: Never mind - husband came home and showed me how to use the shell install. MUUUUUCH better. Liking CMSMS so far!!!
