Login No work after WinUpdates/SophosInstall/WindowsWasher Install

I recently ran a windows update on my PC server (2000) running my CMS website (latest version as of two weeks ago), installed sophos anti-virus, and installed windows washer (browser cleanign proram when you close your browser) now when I login, I get a quick flash (reload) and it says nothing.


I removed the update and Sophos and still the same issue. I did notice the "stored connection was gone for my MySQL which I replaced.

When I enter a wrong name and PW, i get the red PW doesnt match. Thoughts?

i know i was having problems with an adblocker fro ff which was affecting the admin side of cmsms

Nope and I have everything uninstalled now. i think it may have been the Window Washer (which cleans your local computer cache and cookies which was placed on the server.


how did you fix your problem?

just removed/disabled the snap-in, cleared the cache and bingo

Wish it was that easy! did all that and nothing.
