Simple Upgrade Question

Post by aidank »

Hi Guys,

I attempted to upgrade my version of CMSMS from 1.1.3.1 to 1.1.4.1. The upgrade seemed to go fine and when completed I changed my config file and deleted the install folder. I didn't get any upgrade errors.

However when I log back into CMSMS admin, the version at the bottom of the page is still been displayed as 1.1.3.1. I know this is a really basic question but how can I tell whether 1.1.4.1 has been installed correctly?

Am I still running on 1.1.3.1 or is it just a caching issue?

Is there a list of features present in 1.1.4.1 that are not available in 1.1.3.1, if so I will then be able to check whether these features are available in my version of CMSMS.

I definitely have the 1.1.4.1 version install files as I installed it on a friends website and 1.1.4.1 appears in their admin login.

Thanks
Aidan

Hi Mark,

Thanks for getitng back to me.

Yeah I cleared my cache and it still appears as 1.1.3.1. Is there a particular feature present in 1.1.4.1 that is not available in 1.1.3.1, if so I will then be able to check whether these features are available in my current version of CMSMS?

Or should I try the upgrade again?

Tks

I can't say better. Search for "proper steps to upgrade" to 1.2.
