How To Have News Module Articles Show In Calendar?

Hi

I am trying to work out how to have News module articles show on the Calendar module i.e. as an event date which when clicked then goes to the news article.

In the Calendar help page it has this example which I have added at the top of the  Calendar "Event Template" using news instead of comments but does not work.

Example of allowing Comments on Calendar events

Install the Comments module and put this in your Calendar "Event Template":
{cms_module module='comments' modulename='Calendar' pageid=$event.event_id}

Nope as there are no files released for this project yet. I thought that this was something which could already be done.

I'm sorry - forgot it to say - it's only available in SVN.

Have create an archive ... rename extension from .txt to .zip

I tried downloading this by renaming to a .zip file but gives an error when trying to unarchive. Any idea?
