Installation trouble

Would be incredibly appreciative of any help!  Have all files on server....when I install this is the message:  Could I be missing the index files?

Clear all the files from the tmp/cache folder and tmp/templates_c folder.

I just had the same issue it is the Read only attribute to the cmsmadesimple folder in the inetpub folder if that is where your sit is located .  Once I unchecked it and applied it works.

Now since it works what kind of problemes did I cause.  I myself was just told to try this out yesterday.  I installed it and ran into the isse of blank page which was resolved with setting the memory to memory_limit = 64M in the php.ini

you can basically get around the forums by saying... try increasing the memory, checking the permissions and reuploading with a decent ftp tool. crazyness..
