Variables, tags, etc.

Hi,

is there documentation about all the tags and how to use them..  I need to use SSI like variables and if tags but I can't find any example.

I would like to create template that would show some content based on page name (menu selection).. and I also need to define some variable inside page that would be used by template. I am almost sure that is possible since the following site has this: http://www.cgsskulptur.se/index.php?page=start

Can anyone can givem me some examples please..
