copying from local to online server prob

I have exported and followed all the steps to upload the site from my local server to a online server, however i must have done something wrong as all that shows is links at the top to skip to contetn or nav, the title, and the footer????

what could i have done wrong. do i have to change paths to files or anything?

Are the pages attached to the correct template, are the stylesheets attached to this template?

Check to make sure paths in config.php are pointing to the correct base url and database name, path, user, password, are right and all other URLs...

got it sorted, permissions on my server were all over the place, made them writable and reinstalled and it worked.
