News 2.5

Post by Anders kramer »

Hi
I just installed the news 2.5 module, and already there's problems. When i start styling there is no reaction. I've changed everything, even deleted, and nothing happens.

How come it is not possible to change the looks in the templates available from the news page in contents? Last i worked with the news module (a year ago) everything worked fine.

I hope you can help.

regards
Anders

Anders,

start styling, where?
NEWS is now DB-driven, meaning that under the textarea, where you can type, the Summary-template and Detail-templates are shown that are used. Typing in the area above isnt doing anything besides setting the default template to be used to create a NEW template.

Did you attach the stylesheet to your template.

do you have the developers toolbar? its a firefox add-on and there you can see the details of the classes.... with this it should be really easy to style the news. i did a few days ago with the newest version, so there shouldn't be a problem.

don't you see the stylsheet for the news in the slylesheet list?
