I've had fairly good luck with QualityHostOnline.com

Very little downtime, good features and they don't seem to be over selling like many other hosts.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of going with HostGator but they don't have Made Simple installed, although they said I could myself. I'll take a look at the suggested hosting sites. I'm reading through the installation instructions now.

Installing it is very straightforward if you have ssh access. Otherwise you will have to unpack the source and upload using ftp - this is slow but works, best to use an ftp programme that allows commands so you can chmod the various directories and delete install after use.

Dont be frightened - there is really nothing that can go wrong.
