Import/Export

A nice thing to be able to do would be to able to export and import things (especially templates) so that we can easily transfer them to another site.

As well, an install and export module would be cool for modules and plugins too.

Yeah, this is definatly a good idea. I think this could totally be done as a module...

though I would want it on the admin section, not in the regular site, so a module that is admin specific.

Maybe something that has only the executeadmin() methods filled in, and the rest does nothing....

so you want a module that will backup only the cms_templates table and then send you a gzip file?

if yes, i can add it to my "to-do" list.

No, want to selectively transfer templates, plugins, modules, etc, etc, etc, from one site to another via an import/export mechanism.

so, only selected certain templates, plugins and modules...

and an option to import would be cool too.
