A MENU and A FLASH question

Post by yorgi63 »

Two quick ones:

1. simple 1. Harder (maybe)

The Simple:

On the "pages" of the site I am working on I want to have a "vertical banner" with a submenu along with the regular "Horizontal" menu. How do I accomplish this? I know I have to create an inner template but what else.

The Harder:

On the main page I have a flash movie playing. Problem is when  the horizontal has a drop down it part of it hides behind the flash movie. I have tried putting the movie in the content area and as a part of the main template. It does on both.

Any ideas....thanks all!!

1) Not sure what you mean by this... the default install has a template with a horiz. menu on top and second level on the left...

Link in the bottom of this post has a link to a demo site with default templates and CSS...

2) The flash needs mode="transparent" and another setting I don't remember atm, but if you do a forum search for flash hiding you should find it...

Thanks for the response it worked on the flash thingee.

I guess what I meant was (and this is me being dense) is on certain pages the main menu is stays on top but there is also a vertical menu as well. This would only be on certain pages.

Any thoughts.
