i was wondering on how to do a few things im new to this cms and it looks very nice btw

1. the admin panel is really dull

2. how do u add a login for the members and how do the users register?

Hello,

1. have a search on "admin theme" or "admin theming" or "themes for admin" or so.
2. FrontEndUser module and SelfRegistration module.

You may be interested in CustomContent module too. See the list of modules.
