The road to multilingual CMSMS?

Hello all,

AFAIK multilinguality will be a feature of CMSMS 2.0, so the question is: If I have to develop a multilingual site *today*, what is considered the best method so that it can be smoothly upgraded from 1.2 to multilingual 2.0?
Or is there simply no way?

I'm afraid there wont be any magical easy way to do that.

Any hints *how* the multilinguality in 2.0 will work? Maybe there is at least a way to make it not too hard to switch ...
