How to CAPTCHA ...

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

How to CAPTCHA ...

Post by faglork »

Hi all,

I need to apply captcha functionality to the Guestbook module. I searched the forge and found
Captcha-0.3-for-cmsmadesimple-0.13.xml
but, as you see, this is a somewhat dated module.

a) does it still work?
b) do I have to install anything else (captcha module for apache? or what?)

Thanks in advance,
Alex

Alex,

Captcha still works. In some modules, there is a optional calling to use Captcha. Guestbook is one of those modules.
For your second question, nothing extra is required, maybe permissions on the folder where the images are created/opened.

I just installed it on a 1.1.2 site and it tells you which folder you may need to chmod to get it to work, I didn't need to it worked right off...
