SEARCH: Neither PIESEARCH nor regular SEARCH returning results within pages

Hi all,

OK, I have two things now.... one is the NMS I posted about elsewhere, the other is the SEARCH feature.

Neither one is working for results IN pages. Only for page titles/news items/calendar items.

Why would it index and get News/Calendar/etc but NOT info in the CONTENT? It seems odd to me.

Please help.

Are you using pisearch (of 2005 ) or

http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/modpisearch/

version 1.8.2 released this year?

Opps, I am using the old version.

I can not upload XML or FTP files to this server: I depend on the module manager--is there a way to add the new PISearch to the Module Manager, that I can do?

I'm not sure how that one installs, I've errors on both the XML and the ZIP.
Maybe someone that installed the latest, can give installation details.
