Hi Simon,

I split your post from the other topic, since it makes sense to make it its own topic.

The reason I have not fixed that bug is twofold:
1. Lack of time (busy with finishing up Google Summer of Code job, preparing to go back to college, spending time with family, etc.)
2. I no longer plan to use the Album module for my CMSMS websites, but instead I plan to use the Picasa Web Album Browser CMSMS module because Picasa Web is easier for me to use than the Album module is and I don't mind Google hosting my pictures for me.

I do have fixing album bugs and releasing a new version on my CMS Made Simple To Do List, but I cannot make any guarantees if or when I will get around to doing it.

I'm hoping someone else will starting taking over Album maintenance. I did see someone else fix an Album bug yesterday, which is encouraging.

i understand of course and i know that you are busy but i know that there are also some other developers in the album module project, or? I guess that they also have no time

I added most of them after they posted patches to Album, in hopes that they would become active contributers/maintainers of Album. But, I'm guessing that most of them just wanted to post a fix or two and not spend a lot of time working on Album.

Did i understand you that you are working for google?

I was paid by Google to work usability improvements to SilverStripe CMS. I enjoyed learning much more about AJAX.
