CSS defaults

Post by iozzilina »

hi all,
been using CMSMS for a while now, first for a client site (www.allaboutflooring.com) and now using .10 for my own (iovadineva.com/beta).
i love it. there are a few glitches, but being able to edit templates and css realtime is a HUGE help.

on the subject of css, it would be really helpfull if all modules/plugins were required to have a copy of the default css for that module availlable in the css editing menu. this way one knows what to define, whithout wading through the php files or html output. (especially when modules use javascrpt and it becomes uncanny, there are still some look-and-feel element for the php-layers menu i cannot figure out how to controll)

from the default file being in the css editing, we are just a click away from assigning that css sheet to the templates and voila!, streamlined production! :)

thanks for listening and keep up the good work.

Yeah, we've discussed this before.  One idea was that a module could install it's own stylesheet that you could just attach to your template and be done.

Actually, there are a few ways to do it, and I'm definatly open to suggestions as to which is the best/easiest.
