Strange problem with entering code

Hello,

I just tried to enter a small amazon-ad on my site, just into the main template, but everytime i want to save the template, i get the message:

"Not Found

The requested URL was not found on this server."

When im entering other HTML Code, it saves normally. It happens, when I try .... or anthing with javascript.


On another site, I got no problems with entering adsense, Amazon ads or whatever.

Can I put in the code manually from somewhere else outside the admin menu - where can I find the template files with my FTP-program  ?

*Edit:  I can enter the code by using the {adsense}-tag, but I want to do it manually, by entering the javascript into a global content block. It worked on another server.. any ideas ?

*** EDIT 2: I solved it by myself by making a simple Tag with the Amazon-Code in it - this worked fine at once - but it´s strange on another server, where my german site is hosted, I was able to put in the amazon code directly in the template (by the way, the template is also exactly the same it´s the same site  in english)
