Hi,
I believe this question has been addressed a long time ago but so many things have changed since then.
So... I want to display my site here http://adrian.com and then move the entire administration section to use my hosting shared SSL
https://secure.hosting.com.
Is this possible? What would I need to do to make this possible:
- Set the full admin directory path in my config.php file?
- Would you need to type in the secure domain path for the admin section i.e.https://secure.hosting.com or could you just go http://adrian.com/admin/ and it automatically redirects to the secure section?
Has anyone tried this? Is it possible?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards
Adrian

Did you ever find an answer to this question? I would like to know how to do this as well.

Re: Relocate / Secure Admin Section
Hi
I would like to know too. Have a shared SSL but can't seem to make it work either.
Using CMS 1.6.7
Back with an older version it was working, but unfortunately not anymore with the latest 1.6 versions.
So if anybody has a clue on how to use shared SSL for front end and admin pages, that would be great news. Especially since this discussion about SSL is going back to 2005 and still no clear solution to be found.
Cheers
