A way to detect which pages were modified in a certain period

Post by calguy1000 »

It would be really useful to have a module like "recent changes" that would give a nicely formatted list of all of the pages that have been added or updated within a period of time.  I could embed this module into the main page of a site, and quickly direct the surfers to anything that is new and improved.

I think I might just start on this myself.... if there is suitable information in the tables.

Just try plugin modified_date and read it's implementation - it will be a good start :-)))

Strange.  Someone else asked about a sitewide last modified date as well.  I held off replying until I could come up with some code...  It would have to be a database query, but would be pretty straightforward.
