How to customize an album template?

For discussion and questions related to CMS Specific templates and stylesheets (CSS), and themes. or layout issues. This is not a place for generic "I don't know CSS issues"

How to customize an album template?

I made a minor change to default.tpl in the folder modules/album/templates/db and uploaded it, but nothing happened. I'll bet that's because db means database and I'm supposed to upload it in a special way, huh? (All I'm trying to do is change the phrase "Album index" to "Portfolio home page.")

I believe the templates are editable inside the Album module, second tab, you can even add your own...
