Below are the ways that I could think of to create links:

To create a link and have it display in the menu
Go to: Content Management/Add New Content and then change the content type to link and fill in the information.

To create a link and have it display in the content
Go to: Content Management/Add Content and if using the WYSIWYG you can click on the link icon and fill in the info. If your not using the WYSIWYG then you can type in a standard link Google

There is also the selflink plugin which you can read more about under plugins in the admin panel. But is of the form {cms_selflink page="1" text="Click Here"}.

Hope that helps :)

Well, what I wanted was something like cms_selflink but without the tag

so....

I copied the function.cms_selflink.php to function.cms_selfurl.php, and proceeded to hack

and in about ten minutes, I had everything working.
thanks

Anybody want this module, and a random-image module, just give me a shout and I'll email em to ya.

Yeah, please send them over. What I will probably do is make a wiki page for user submitted plugins. Lemme come up with something this weekend.

I whipped up this quick wiki page for now. We have to come up with something better down the road, but at least this gives us a repository to share some code.
