question about "News"

hey, i'm kinda noob on CMS and i have a question.
i have a news column on the right of the website i'm working on, but i would like to do something special with it.
Actualy i hoped to post there latest results of something for example: the market value of one of our products or something like that.
but my question is: can i make it automaticly..? for instance if stock exchange goes up o down, that it will show in my news.. is tehere any link system or anything i can use..?

Hmm, maybe you can show a rss feed from a wall street ticker

You can use RSS module or Pirss tag for that.
