Can FrontEnd Users Add content to your website?

Post by spencerclark06 »

I think that I have a good grasp of how CMS works and I have been looking at all of the helps sites and forums to see if anyone has asked this question before but I can't seem to find any help. I got my website to sign on users with FEU and CC. The members can access certian pages, but I want them to be able to add their own content or postings, very similiar to classified ads. Can anyone shed some light on the matter or point me in the right direction? Thanks in Advance!

IMHO it's not possible with current permission system. But it will be changed in version 2.

You would need a custom module for this, unless you can get by with the Questions & Answers module, which allows frontend users to post questions to be (optionally) answered by the administrator.
