I had to setup three different database.php files in order to get this loaded up correctly. Somehow, I don't think that should need to be done. Why doesn't the code just get changed to access the correct directory or go down one level of directory (../database.php) ore even two (../../database.php)?
In any event, you should change the installation instructions, that come with the download, to reflect this problem.
1.06 - database.php File
Re: 1.06 - database.php File
Hello Sharon,
I haven't installed for a while. I don't know this db.php. CMSms is all about a config.php.
Several CMSms installation can share a single db by choosing different table prefix (cms1_, cms2_ and so on rather than cms_) when installing.
Have fun

Pierre, Based on your answer here, could you look at this post question about running multiple sites?:
--> Multiple Domains, Same Server
--> Multiple Domains, Same Server
Re: 1.06 - database.php File
Ronny is right : the question is : do you want (1) the same content over all the domains which share the hosting, or do you want (2) each domain to have its own content ?
For (1) Ronny's suggestion rocks.
For (2) the answer is yes, CMSms can be hosted on shared hosting. The db can be shared with the prefixes as explained above. The CMSms install need to be on each virtualhost each with its own config.php.
Have fun.

Re: 1.06 - database.php File
I was already considering the added tables prefix and a separate config.php file with root connections to the CMS install. I may try it on a sample, once I get things going and become really familiar with CMSmadeSimple and all the add on modules.
From everything I have read so far, in the docs, wiki, forums; and from what I have worked with so far, I am pretty impressed. This is a very easy CMS to use. I applaud the developers.
