Can anyone help me with language issue?  :o
I have a site where are different languages. Now I made a new subadmin for Italian site. I would like to copy the content of root folder (english) to the Italian site. What folder should I copy and can it be made only by transferring files with ftp?

marjako,

if you mean the real content of the different pages, you can't copy it as they aren't stored in static files, but in the database and pulled while processing the pages. If you didn't install the MLE (MultiLanguage installation), you can create a higher level menu for your languages, so that people can choose for that level (being the language). Your original menu is then only the deeper level menu's for that specific language.

I haven't installed the original version, but if I'm right it is a multilanguage installation. I started the installation from the subfolder (the folder was already there) and made the database prefix as ''cms_it'' . I think that the idea has had that every language has their own admin pages and own editors as well.  There is an english version on the server root and every llanguage has their own subfolders with own content pages and admin panels. The pages should still look quite similar, but now it's hard to manage them because I have to made the changes to every sub sites separately (even their could have same headers, templates and base structure. My idea was, that if i could copy the content of english site to the italian site, the italian guy could translate them instead of making all from start again..

It is quite difficult to learn where everything are, when you haven't made them by yourself.
