Upgrade Search Module 1.0.4 to 1.1 failed

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Upgrade Search Module 1.0.4 to 1.1 failed

Post by pixelpeter »

Upgrading cmsms from 1.0.2 to 1.04.
Everything worked fine, exept the upgrade of the "Search Module"

Only way to get cmsms back to work was to remove the dir "Search" from the modules folder.

After cmsms worked again I put back the folder into the moduls dir and tried the updgrade again from the modules page in the admin. This failed also.

It looks to me like it is a problem with "user defined tags" because I get this error (partial) where "devnet_ivw" is a "user defined tag"
------------------------------------------
string(128) "Smarty error: [in temporary template line 74]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'devnet_ivw' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 583)" string(128) "Smarty error: [in temporary template line 82]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'devnet_ivw' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 583)" string(131)
------------------------------------------

Any idea how to fix this ?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
I also get this error by Upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3.
Have you found a solution for this Bug?

I don't have a solution, but I do have a workaround.

Uninstall the Search module in your old CMSMS on the modules page.  Upgrade CMSMS.  Reinstall the Search module.
