i have used 1.0.4 on a windows server and a linux server and am having the same problems. the menu and nms modules do not work at all. even putting {menu} doesnt alleviate the problem. i upgraded from 0.13 to 1.0.4 and my site totally mucked up. i have been running 1.0.2 in other locations both on linux and windows and have had no problems at all. there must be something screwy happnin from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4
thankfully the modules i need work with 1.0.2 so i will stick with this till this issue is resolved

NMS is not part of CMS, it's an addon to it. and by reports I've gotten from users it works for them. so I'm not sure what's happening.
Your reports of 'it just doesn't work' or 'is buggy', is not constructive. I know many people that use NMS, and are using menus in 1.0.4 without a problem.
Maybe it's a problem with your menu manager template, or a problem with your template using an outdated menu style or something.
