Cant instal xml themes - pictures wont show

Post by pete_cph »

Hi!
Hope someone can assist me. I'm trying to instal an XML theme. I download it to my pc and then upload it using thememanager.
Then I activiate it by pressing the red cross.
But I only see some text and no pics or anything. What am I doing wrong?  :'(

Yes - the pics are there in the correct 'uploads' folder. No problem to upload them

Pete,

I didn't mean if they were there. I meant, do they have the correct rights (755) or (777) otherwise, they can't be whown on the internet, because the internet-user doesn't have the rights to show them. If you change the rights to 755, they should be visible.

Hi Ronny!

Yes, I just checked! The rights are set correctly (777) - but still, no pics or anything. Strange!

Hi Ronny!
Succes!! I erased the theme and installed it again, giving the uploads the correct rights. And now it suddenly works!
Thanks for the support!
