TEXTAREA horizontal scrolling howto?

I'm thinking, WYSIWYG won't work...so I think I'll just use the normal HTML textarea, so I can preserve my nice formatting and anal tendancies.

The text areas currently word wrap...this is annoying, can this be turned off? Where would I start?

I'm curious about this as well and if it's possible.  Textarea wrapping makes it hard to edit code.
