Inhibiting output from CMSMS

Hi

I'm looking at the G2Mod, and Gallery2. However I have found a problem, that when gallery2 is sending image data, it does it through G2Mod, and sometimes CMSMS is outputting it's headers before g2 data.

Is there a way for preventing cms to output anything at all? If a module wants to output it's own headers/data without smarty templates etc.?
