how to force database upgrade?

Hi!

I had to upgrade some cmsms from 0.11.2 with database schema 14 to cmsms 1.0.4 with database schema 27.
I realized that some of the old cmsms-upgrades must have been failed because the database schema is incorrect so the upgrade to database schema 27 didn't work correct.
In my special case in the table css the column media_type does not exist. Perhaps other tables are missing columns, too.

can anybody tell me, in which schema version this column was added?
What would be the best way to force an schema upgrade to version 27?
