Someone who accesses the site from the homepage and clicks the link to download will never see that information. So either provide a link to the downloads page, as suggested above, or state the information twice, yes. It's no use having that information if no-one reads it.

yeah, this downloads page is really not clear other than pointing you to the 50 other files.

Having looked again at the homepage, I think it's a usability issue; the main text 'Download Now' takes you to the Downloads page, but is not obviously a link; whereas the less prominent but more obvious link, 'Version 1.4.1', takes you to the list of files.

I think this just needs a slight design tweak to make it more clear.

I see what you are getting at now, yes maybe if they go straight there it will not be clear, will bring this up...
