Help with creating a member area using 3rd party membership/authentication

I have created a client website using cmsms and it works great.  Thanks cmsms team.

My new dilemma is, I have another client website that I want to convert to using cmsms, and the site has a member area controlled by a 3rd party payment/authentication tool. In order to secure a page for members only, all I have to do is put the physical .php file in the /members folder.  Once file is accessed the 3rd party tool will present the member with a login screen.

Is it possible for me to convert this site to cmsms and keep the current membership payment/authentication in place?  If so, any ides or methods.
