linking styles

Post by saltydog »

In my css I need to link the stylesheet associated with the main template, to another remote url, in order to keep the styles of the two sites standard.
How can I set this to the main template?
And how can I add special local styelsheet?

Same question i think.
i searched the forum, and i would have searched the wiki if it had a search link (grrrrr!!!!!!), but i cannot find instructions on how to insert a stylesheet that is setup in the stylesheets section of the layout admin into either an individual page or a template
{edt** ok, i finally noticed the tiny little icon for associating a stylesheet with a template, but really, i only want this extra stylesheet on ONE PAGE at this time, should i add it as an htmlblob? seems stupid}

WHAT IS THE SYNTAX!!!!!!
i see refernces all over the forum when i do a search for 'stylesheet' that says {stylesheet}
well, gee, smarty returns an unrecognized tag error
same for {stylesheet name=""}
and assuming my stylesheet is named 'featured' {featured} doesn't work either.
Anyone?

Currently, there is no way to do this.

The idea of the {stylesheet name=''} is great, though.  I never really thought of that situation, but it makes total sense.  I definitely want to get that into 0.11.

oh, ok.
the HTML blob thing is working for now. looking forward to .11 if you really are going to be able to include it in that release. it makes more sense to keep all stylesheets in the stylesheets area.
