Adding menu links ... newbie question

Post by Watchmanz »

Hi everyone, I've just downloaded and installed the latest version of CMSMS and I like what I see so far. The only trouble is that I've hit a snag ..... I want to change the menus. At the moment they read as default ... the first thing I wanted to do was create a menu link to the CMSMS forums I downloaded and installed during the set up.

I'm getting old and crusty or half blind, but for the life of me I cannot see how to do this. Yes, I searched before asking this ... so if it's a repeat I shall beg mercy. I thought you'd just go to the menu manager, click new link, module, forums ... but it appears it's not that simple .

Help please?  :D

Under: content > pages
Click on 'Add New Content' button.
Make sure that 'Show in Menu' is checked under options.
Add content, which in your case would be: {cms_module module="Forum"}
and click 'Submit'.

Your menu is built based on your pages.
Take a penny, leave a penny.
