[SOLVED] Strang text displayed in <code> tag

[SOLVED] Strang text displayed in <code> tag

Help,  Recently my host had a database problem and after repair with a backup my sit now has text appear above the <!DOCTYPE html  tag

I don't know what happedned but somehow this code was uncommented.  Was my site hacked?
