[SOLVED] Problems adding content with TinyMCE after upgrade

Post by olof »

I want to start by saying that I'm a newbie.  ;)

Now to my problem. I have problems adding content with TinyMCE after upgrading to CMS Made Simple 1.2.3. When I add content with TinyMCE I get a response that says "No content given!".  If I turn TinyMCE off, I can add content.

I've checked that permissions are right on all folders (777).

My site is hosted on one.com.

Can someone please help me?

Best regards

Try uninstalling, removing and reinstalling TinyMCE.

Thanks, can you give me a clue how to uninstall and then reinstall TinyMCE? Just delete the TinyMCE directory and then upload a fresh one from the CMSMS install files?

When you're logged into the admin section, go to Extensions > Modules.

I forgot TinyMCE is part of the core package, first I'd try just uninstalling and reinstalling.

I suggest reading through this to learn more about how to use and configure CMSms:

Thanks once again. I removed the TinyMCE directory from the server (since it didn't uninstall from the "Modules" panel) and then reinstalled a new version (downloaded from CMSMS Forge). Now it works fine again.
