TinyMCE WYSIWYG Basic - no panel while on local PC
TinyMCE WYSIWYG Basic - no panel while on local PC
I tried to use TinyMCE WYSIWYG Basic on my local PC but there's no panel with editing tools (links, bold etc). See picture attached -there's no dropdown-menu with Blockformats. But It's OK if i try to use it on server though. How can i fox it ?

No picture attached.
TinyMCE, is afaik, 100% JavaScript based. Make sure you have JavaScript enabled on your local browser and don't have any ad blocking software that might be blocking it. Try clearing cache and cookies, closing browser and restarting, after making sure JavaScript is enabled.

Did you happen to deny access to config.php in .htaccess as I posted here:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... l#msg92188
I found the problem, then and fixed it. Remove the tilde and TinyMCE will work again. I don't know if that will still break some other functions:
order allow,deny
deny from all

I did have the same problem, after an upgrade of CMSMS. I solved it by uninstalling TinyMCE and installing it again.bdfy wrote:but i'm using the same browser for local/server work... if it's ok on server i assume java is runningTinyMCE, is afaik, 100% JavaScript based.
