Greetings all,
My site has gone bananas... >:(
It started with the "home page" getting corrupt with parts of the content not showing and other parts visible but with crazy format and on the wrong place. When I edited the page and saved it, the content section went blank. After some investigation I found that if I entered one or two lines, they showed up with correct format. Three lines entered produced a blank content section. No error messages, they just didn't show up.
Next step was to check the template. Nothing odd found in there. I made a small change (that had no impact on the content section) and saved it. Poof - now the entire site went blank. I can still access the admin pages, so it seems like a problem saving data via the web browser. I have tried editing from three different computers connected to three different LAN's, same problem everywhere.
Any tips on what might have happened? ???
Thanks
Jon

Re: Site crash when updating
Do you have an example page url? Is this after an upgrade to a newer version of CMSMS? Have you tried clearing out the cache in Admin? Has you host changed something?
Re: Site crash when updating
Hello,
no hosting information, not even a CMSms version... how do you think we can diagnose something and help ?

Russ, thanks for providing the simpliest solution; Cache clearing. That simple click put the site back on track. However, the problem occurred "out of the blue". Nothing changed in the configs etc. Strange...
Pierre, sorry for not providing any tecnical specs. I was kinda upset when crying for help...
Next time I'll be a bit more careful entering more data making your (and others) kind efforts easier.
Thanks again, keep up the good work!
Cheers
