(I am trying to upgrade my local installation, so I am not ftp-ing anything yet, just moving files)Alternatively for patch upgrades, you could download the 'diff' package to your desktop, expand it on your desktop, then open the folder and ftp the contents of the entire folder directly into your CMSMS home directory. The existing 'old' files in your CMSMS home directory will be overwritten by the uploaded 'new' files contained in the diff package. Remember, It is always a safe practice to backup your cmsms installation before attempting any upgrade.
When I move the entire diff directory to my 1.2.2 version, all of my modules and admin files and everything that I have added to my site is gone. (as I expect would happen in the "overwrite"). Now there is no login.php in the admin folder, so I can't even log into my site.
Is the documentation correct? or should I only be copying the contents of each directory, so that my added modules, etc. are not overwritten?
I have a backup of my entire 1.2.2 directory, so nothing is lost, but I have tried this upgrade half a dozen times with the same results...
What am I missing?
Thank you
