The ADOdb Lite database abstraction library cannot be found, CMS Made Simple can

My site has been up for over a year and now:

The ADOdb Lite database abstraction library cannot be found, CMS Made Simple cannot load.

What could be causing this? I've tried to google the error message but it all simply points me to the file where it's being echoed out.

Yes, the directory adodb_lite had perms of 411, couldn't read anything in there.

Can you please enlighten me to what the correct perms of that folder should be.

Most of mine are 755.
