Tags like {sitename} and {title} Not Working??

Hello,


I'm relatively new to CMS Made Simple but have stumbled against a problem. The function of "tags" i think they are called does not work. For example when i add the tag: {sitename} in the browser nothing is displayed. This is very annoying for issues like using {title} which will greatly affect SEO.

Also i can not access the admin/listtags.php. Instead i get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /data/members/paid/c/o/coastercrazy.co.uk/htdocs/www/page/plugins/function.embed.php on line 36

Does anybody have any ideas. I will try anything.

Are you adding them in your template?
Have you checked to see if all of the CMSMS files have copied to the server correctly?
