I any very new to CMS Made Simple and I can figure out how to insert a block of php code in a page.

I'm sorry, but I've answered this question dozens of times myself

and others have answered it too

some simple searches in the forum would answer it for you.

Start researching User Defined Tags (UDT)

If you start reading through the documentation, you'll find out more about them and so much more about CMSms.
