Problem with libs/replacement.php

When I created my draft site cmwmadesimple v1.2.3 all worked OK.

Windowx XP
Wampserver
  Apache/2.2.4 (Win32)
  PHP version :5.2.3
  Windowx XP

When I moved it to my ISP, I kept getting a php error - unexpected $ end .. blah blah blah in ...... replacement.php

Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
PHP version 5.2.3

As a workaround, I commented out all options in the $replacement array.

I'm sure I've broken something important but at least I got it working in AU english.

Please advise how to fix so that my files conform to standard CMSMS.

First I would try re-uploading that file.  You may need to re-download the CMSms package, unzip it and get a fresh copy of that file.
