Footer display issues in IE

Footer display issues in IE

I am using CMSMS 1.2.3

In Internet Explorer I am experiencing an issue with the footer height.  The footer height varies on different pages.  It seems to be when the Nav Bar is close to the bottom of the page.

The footer is ok on this page:  http://www.poetry-verses-prose.com/

On this page the footer has an extra gap at the top: http://www.poetry-verses-prose.com/index.php?page=contact-me

There is no problem with Firefox this only occurs in Internet Explorer.

Can anybody help me solve this issue?
