Learning Management System

Post by goallblacks »

My customer currently uses CMSMS for their website.

Rather than expand the use of CMSMS they  are thinking of using http://www.scribestudio.com for their e-learning programme.

Does anybody have experience of using CMS MS to provide an e-learning environment. I believe that most of the facilities are already there:
  • - content upload and display for the media
  • - frontend user management for access to the media
  • - page manager to create pages to display the media
The features I think are missing/need developing are:
  • - Polls, survey. tests and examinations - I know survey manager exists but this is rather limited IMO
  • - web conferencing
  • - Learner Management
Anybody done this, or anything similar? Do you have any experiences I can share with my client.
thanks

Another learning package (free) is Moodle. I hear it's pretty good.
